Agreement Overview
These Terms and Conditions govern all in-store and walk-in repair services provided by celltech Mobile Repairs (trading as "celltech"). By booking a repair with us, you agree to these Terms.
The celltech Repair Promise
Honest diagnosis, transparent pricing, and quality repairs backed by the UK's longest warranty. If we can't fix it, you don't pay. If we damage something, we'll make it right.
What sets us apart:
- 27 months warranty: More than double the industry standard
- No fix, no fee: Free diagnosis on all devices
- While-you-wait: Most repairs completed same day
- Feature preservation: We protect True Tone, Face ID, and water resistance where possible
- All repairs in-house: Never outsourced, always our technicians
Definitions
- "We", "us", "our": celltech Mobile Repairs, trading as celltech
- "You", "your": The customer requesting repair services
- "Device": The smartphone, tablet, laptop, or other electronic equipment submitted for repair
- "Repair": Any service performed to restore device functionality or appearance
- "Parts": Components used in the repair process (screens, batteries, etc.)
- "Quote": Our estimated price for the repair service
- "Board-level repair": Microsoldering and component-level work on logic boards/motherboards
Booking Process
Three ways to book:
- Online: Book through our website for a confirmed time slot
- Walk-in: Visit us at 353 Warwick Road, Solihull, B91 1BQ — no appointment needed

When booking, please provide:
- Your contact details (name, phone, email)
- Device make, model, and storage capacity
- Clear description of the fault or issue
- Any relevant history (previous repairs, drops, water exposure)
Parts availability: Common parts are stocked. If a part needs ordering, we'll confirm timing and you can decide whether to wait or proceed.
Diagnosis & Quotation
No Fix, No Fee Diagnosis
We diagnose every device free of charge. If we can't repair it, or you choose not to proceed, you pay nothing. No diagnostic fees, no "inspection charges".
Our diagnostic process:
- Visual inspection: External condition, signs of damage, water indicators
- Functional testing: Screen, touch, buttons, cameras, speakers, microphone, charging
- Internal assessment: If needed, we open the device to inspect components
- Fault identification: Root cause analysis, not just symptoms
Your quote will include:
- Identified fault(s) and recommended repairs
- Part type (original, premium aftermarket, or refurbished)
- Total cost including VAT and labour
- Estimated completion time
- Any risks or limitations (feature loss, reduced warranty, etc.)
If we find additional issues: We'll contact you before doing any extra work. You always approve the final price before we proceed.
Repair Process

While-you-wait or leave-in: Most phone repairs can be completed while you wait. For longer repairs, we'll text/email when it's ready.
27-Month Warranty
The UK's Longest Repair Warranty
All standard repairs are covered by our 27 months warranty — more than double the industry average. This covers parts and workmanship for the repair we performed.
Warranty tiers vary by repair type:
- Standard repairs (screens, batteries, cameras): 27 months
- Connector repairs (charging ports): 9 months
- Board-level repairs: 120 days
- Liquid damage recovery: 120 days
Quick summary:
- Covered: Defective parts we installed, faulty workmanship, related issues from the repair
- Not covered: New physical damage, software issues, third-party modifications, normal wear

Parts Quality
We offer three part tiers:
- Original (OEM): Genuine manufacturer parts where available — highest quality, best feature compatibility
- Premium aftermarket: High-quality third-party parts that meet our strict standards — excellent value
- Refurbished original: Genuine parts professionally restored to working condition
Feature Preservation Notice
Some features (True Tone display calibration, Face ID, Touch ID) may require original parts or special programming to maintain. We'll explain any feature implications before you decide.
Our commitment: We'll always tell you what parts we're using and why. All parts carry our full warranty regardless of type.
Data Protection
Back Up Before Your Appointment
We strongly recommend backing up your device before any repair. While data loss is rare, it can occur — especially with board-level or liquid damage repairs. We cannot guarantee data preservation.
How we handle your data:
- We never access personal files, photos, messages, or apps
- Passcodes are used only for testing functionality and deleted after
- We won't factory reset without your explicit permission
- If data loss occurs during repair, we'll inform you immediately
Board-level and liquid damage: These repairs carry higher data risk. We'll discuss this before proceeding and attempt data preservation where possible.

Collection & Delivery
Collecting your device:
- We'll text/email when your device is ready
- Bring your repair receipt or booking confirmation
- Photo ID matching the booking name may be required
- Someone else can collect with your written permission
Collection deadline:
- Please collect within 30 days of completion
- After 30 days: Storage fee of £2/day may apply
- After 90 days: Uncollected devices may be recycled (we'll attempt contact before this)
Can't collect in person? We can arrange return shipping for an additional fee.
Payment
Payment is due upon collection. We accept:
- Cash
- Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Bank transfer (by prior arrangement)
Pricing notes:
- All prices include VAT
- Quotes are valid for 14 days from issue
- If parts prices change significantly, we'll contact you before proceeding
- No hidden fees — the quoted price is the final price (unless additional faults are found and approved)
Liability
Our responsibility:
- We take full responsibility for the quality of our repairs
- If we damage your device during repair, we'll fix it free or compensate you fairly
- Our warranty covers parts and workmanship for the stated period
Limitations:
- Pre-existing faults not identified before repair (we document condition at check-in)
- Data loss (please back up — we cannot guarantee data preservation)
- Consequential losses (loss of business, missed opportunities, etc.)
- Manufacturer defects unrelated to our repair
Our total liability shall not exceed the price paid for the repair service. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Cancellation Rights
You may cancel at any time before work begins for a full refund of any deposit.

Complaints
We want every customer to be happy. If something's not right:
- Talk to us first: Most issues are resolved on the spot
- Email mail@celltechmobilerepairs.co.uk with your repair details and concerns
- We'll acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 14 days
- Escalation: Request a senior manager review if you're not satisfied
If we can't reach agreement: You may seek alternative dispute resolution through an approved ADR provider, or pursue legal remedies through the courts.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Your statutory rights: Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force.
