Agreement Overview
These Terms of Service explain how celltech Mobile Repairs(trading as "celltech") provides repairs, mail-in services, trade-ins and refurbished device sales. They replace the previous separate repair, mail-in, trade-in and refurbished terms so customers have one clear set of terms to read.

We repair devices with reasonable care and skill, confirm extra costs before doing extra work, protect your statutory rights, and keep warranty rules separate on our Guarantee & Warranty page.
By placing an order, sending a device to us, accepting a quote, selling a device to us or buying a refurbished device from us, you agree to these terms.

This is our office address only. Do not post devices to 126 High Street, Solihull, B91 3SX. The secure device mailing address is provided after checkout in your order instructions. Repairs are handled by mail-in service only unless we confirm otherwise in writing. There are no public walk-in opening hours or customer drop-off appointments by default.
Repair Services
Our repair prices cover the fault, model and part tier shown at the point of booking. We may need to inspect the device before confirming the final repair route, especially where there is liquid damage, impact damage, previous repair work, missing parts or more than one fault.
- We only carry out extra paid work after you approve the revised quote.
- If the device is beyond economical repair, we will tell you before taking payment.
- Parts may be aftermarket, OEM-grade, refurbished genuine, used pull or service pack depending on model, availability and the option selected.
- No independent repair can guarantee original manufacturer water-resistance after opening a device.
Mail-In Repairs
Use the Checkout Mailing Address Only
This is our office address only. Do not post devices to 126 High Street, Solihull, B91 3SX. The secure device mailing address is provided after checkout in your order instructions.
After booking, we send shipping instructions. You are responsible for packing the device securely and using a tracked, adequately insured inbound service unless we have arranged a courier or prepaid label for that specific order.
- If you arrange inbound postage, transit risk remains with you until the device is delivered to us.
- If we arrange a courier or prepaid label, the risk and insurance position follows the written shipping instructions for that order.
- We are responsible for reasonable care of the device while it is in our possession.
- Completed repairs and valid warranty returns are sent back using a tracked service chosen by us.
- Batteries, liquid-damaged devices, swollen devices and high-value items may need special handling.
Quotes & Approvals
Published prices are based on the device and fault selected. If diagnosis shows a different fault, a damaged connector, missing internal part, board-level issue, liquid damage or previous repair damage, we will pause and send a revised quote.
If you decline a revised quote, we will return the device. Any diagnostic, return postage or specialist assessment fee will only apply if it was shown before that work started.
Cancellation & Refunds
For online, phone and mail-order bookings, consumers normally have a 14-day cancellation period. You can cancel by emailing us or making any other clear statement. If you ask us to start diagnosis or repair work during that period, you agree that we may charge a reasonable amount for the work, parts and postage already supplied if you later cancel.
If you cancel before we start work or order parts for your repair, we refund the amount paid for that service.
If the service is fully completed during the cancellation period with your express request and acknowledgement, your right to cancel that completed service may end. Where a refund is due, we process it without undue delay and within the legal timescales.
These terms do not remove your rights where a service has not been carried out with reasonable care and skill, or where goods are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality.
Payment
We may take payment at booking, after diagnosis, before return shipping, or by payment link depending on the repair type. Prices are in GBP and include VAT where VAT applies.
- We do not return completed repairs until payment has cleared.
- Chargebacks or payment disputes may delay return shipping.
- We do not store full card details on our website.
Warranty & Guarantees
Repair warranty periods vary by repair type. Standard qualifying repairs are covered by our 27 months Fix Guarantee, while charging ports, board-level repairs, liquid damage recovery and batteries have specific terms.
The warranty covers the repaired fault and the parts we supplied. It does not cover new accidental damage, liquid exposure after repair, misuse, unrelated faults, third-party tampering, normal wear or manufacturer software restrictions. Full warranty rules are on the Guarantee & Warranty page.
Trade-In & Sell
Trade-in and sell quotes are provisional until we inspect the device. Quotes are normally held for 7 days unless the market price changes materially, the device arrives late, or the device does not match the information provided.
- If we revise a quote, you can accept it or ask us to return the device.
- Ownership transfers to us only after you accept the final quote and we pay you.
- You must remove locks, accounts, SIM cards and memory cards before sending a device.
- We may refuse devices reported lost, stolen, counterfeit or account-locked.
Refurbished Devices
Refurbished devices are tested, graded and described before sale. Cosmetic grading reflects visible wear; it does not reduce your statutory rights if the device is faulty or not as described.
- Consumer returns are available for 30 days.
- Refurbished devices include a 15 months hardware warranty unless a different warranty is shown on the product page.
- Batteries are tested against the minimum health stated on the product page or listing.
- Refurbished devices are not sold as waterproof or factory-new.
Data on Devices
You should back up your device before sending it to us. We do not routinely wipe devices, but repair work can still involve resets, component testing, data loss risk or software restore attempts.
We only ask for passcodes or account access where reasonably needed to test the repair. We treat device data as confidential and only access what is needed to diagnose, repair, test or complete the service.
Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, unrelated failures, customer packing failures, inbound transit losses, data loss where no backup exists, or delays outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
Complaints
If something is wrong, email mail@celltechmobilerepairs.co.uk with your order details, photos or video if useful, and the outcome you are asking for. We will review the matter and respond as soon as reasonably possible.
If we cannot resolve a consumer complaint directly, you may seek guidance from Citizens Advice, Trading Standards or an appropriate dispute resolution route.
Statutory Rights
Your Rights Stay Intact
These terms and our warranty are in addition to your statutory rights. They do not replace or reduce rights under UK consumer law.
Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If the law gives you stronger rights than these terms, the law applies.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also have the protection of mandatory consumer laws that apply where you live.
